Great work team! Base is good and I think it will provide you with good info. Now, if you gone take this to the investors they need to understand each paper and diagram so all of these needs to be tight up a bit. Remember this suggestions and apply it to the next project...try to make it a standard procedure that will make you professional even if you are a young fresh graduate :) However, here is where you missed few things: a) regarding the presentation: - you need to have a scale and north pointer beside every plan - keep it as much simple as it can be - too much info on a single panel can lead to misunderstanding and confusion of the viewer/investor (remember they are not architects and they do not have spacial orientation) - for park and metro station add simple circle - radius of min instead of fading circle (just like in educational plan) - bike path can be combined with other sport/relaxation/fun important neighborhood places (public park, recreation center, sport hall)
b) regarding the plans and missing features + findings and conclusion: - you need the predominant winds diagram - diagrams of shadows from built environment - fragile/protected areas or buildings - the most unsustainable problem in the area and on the site - you are missing the photos form the level of highline. they can help to obtain and understand the potentials and problems of the site and its view. they can provide you with an idea for better focus in the design phase - potential forms out of the zoning and/or focal points - interview the neighborhood, the locals can provide you with the most interesting and some very important info and ideas. listen to the stories and figure out the best possible solution for functions (missing links, protection or extension of particular, some unique element or expansion form another)
**** very important: - conclusion of the analysis - decisions that come out of the done analysis
advice: always think in 2 scales at the same time: micro and macro (the site/area and the city) when you are making decision about the functions.
